Day 1|Coming Out of Egypt| Zaccheus & The Personal Exodus

He Didn’t Pass Me Over: Zaccheus & the Personal Exodus As we begin the 7 Day Passover series, we turn to the story of Zacchaeus—not your typical Passover figure, yet a powerful picture of a soul coming out of Egypt. Though Zacchaeus had wealth, status, and influence, he was still bound by spiritual lack—much like Israel in Egypt: outwardly established, yet inwardly enslaved. But when Jesus passed through Jericho, He didn’t pass Zacchaeus over. Instead, He saw his effort to rise above the crowd, to separate himself in search of something more. That moment became Zacchaeus’ personal Exodus—a step out of bondage and into the presence of the true Passover Lamb. Jesus entered his home, just as the blood marked the doorposts in Egypt, signifying transformation and salvation had come. This is what Passover still means for us today: the Lamb sees us, calls us out, and comes in. If you enjoy the videos we post on this channel, feel free to like, share, and subscribe.
